'Wife cut off husband's penis and testicles over affair'

A Thai woman has allegedly cut off her husband's penis and testicles after discovering he was having an affair.

Police say Ubon Pititano struck with a kitchen knife after arousing him in their bedroom and threw his severed genitals into a neighbouring banana garden.

Doctors have been unable to reattach Asis Pititano's manhood.

When she discovered he was having an affair with a Malaysian woman she planned to get her revenge, police allege.

Reporters from the Thai Rath newspaper tried to speak to Mr Pititano, but doctors say he is too distressed and is receiving counselling.
